Our program is a youth-focused recreational program for males and females, age 6 to 14. The program provides youth with an opportunity to wear NBA/WNBA team uniforms and engage in fun activities all while learning lessons in teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, etc. Youth will learn skills that will help them feel empowered and succeed both on and off the court.

Divisions include the following:

Rookie 6-year-olds

Rookie 7–8-Year-olds

Starter 9–10-Year-olds

Starter 11-Year-olds

All-Star 12–14-Year-olds - In the 12–14-year-old division, team cannot be coed

Our program includes 5v5 basketball that teaches the basic skills of dribbling, passing, shooting, defending, etc.  The games are played at local facilities, such as churches.

Team practice is on Tuesdays or Thursdays for up to 90 minutes.  Team practices will be held at properties owned by the City of Alexandria (Frank O Hunter Gymnasium or the Alexandria Teen Center).  8U and under can only attend one practice per week per JR. NBA Rules.

Teams will play games for 6 weeks on Saturdays.   For the Summer 24 season, games will be held at Trinity Baptist Church in Pineville Louisiana.  Our season will start on Saturday, July 13, 2024 and will end on Saturday, August 24, 2024 with a bye week on Saturday, July 27, 2024 

Players must register as "Free Agents" (individually) and can request to play with family or friends (placement with friends or a specific coach is not guaranteed).  By policy, no refunds are given after the first day that regular registration closes.  If a player will be absent the entire season due to illness, a future credit may be given at our discretion.

Team rosters will have a maximum of 8 to 10 players (with few exceptions)

Jr. NBA Leagues have a "no cut" policy and every player that registers will have a roster spot
